LakeFest EVE Day Reminders…

Inaugural Guinness World Record Attempt LakeFest 2013 presented by NH Lakes Association (NH LAKES) - 09.07.2013 at Weirs Beach

Happy LakeFest EVE Day! Handful of quick reminders:

1. Early Bird Boat Drop Off + Registration/Check-in open from 12 PM – 7 PM today.

Stop in the boat drop lane on Lakeside Ave. along Endicott Rock Park (there’s an overnight on-the-beach team watching boats), then pop over to Weirs Beach Lobster Pound/ Laconia Roadhouse to register or check-in for Raft-a-Palooza (TWO Guinness World Record attempts for just $20/boat, or $10 each if you’re registering 5+ boats). Those boat captains who registered by 7/4 for Raft-a-Palooza can pick up their free event t-shirt during Registration/Check-in.

2. No canoe? No kayak? No problem if you reserve your onsite rental online today by NOON.

Why not reserve your canoe or kayak (single or tandem) RIGHT NOW so you don’t forget? Click here to save your boat – it will be waiting for you on the beach!

3. Boat drop + check-in will reopen at 7 AM tomorrow (Sun. 8/3).

Plan to arrive early; you don’t want to miss our first Guinness World Record attempt for largest simultaneous launch (happening at 10:15ish)! The pre-registration numbers are there, but we need you to be on time, + really good listeners so we avoid mistakes that could cost our paddlers the record. 🙂

4. Online registration remains open through tomorrow morning!

Save time in line + register for Raft-a-Palooza before hitting the Registration area at Weirs Beach Lobster Pound; click here to register.

5. Remember there’s a full day of free fun at the on-land festival on Sun. 8/3!

Click here for a schedule of events + activities.

6. We’re rain or shine!

Good news – the forecast for LakeFest: Raft-a-Palooza is party cloudy, only a 10% chance of rain, winds at just 4 MPH + a high of 78 – we’ll take it!

7. Today’s M/S Mount Washington party cruise leaves the Weirs Beach dock at 12:30 PM!
